Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Tampa East - Ybor City, an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. There is an available shuttle that will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel. The clerk at the front desk gave us a list of restaurants that were within the 5 mile range. The shuttle driver gave us a few recommendations and the restaurant that we chose was fantastic. We called the hotel when we were done dinner and the shuttle came back to pick us up. This shuttle also brings you to the cruise port but book early as it fills up quickly. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

I was skeptical of location of this hotel as I pulled into the parking lot, but as soon as I walked into the lobby the front desk staff couldn't be more welcoming, helpful, answering all my questions of concerns and made me feel assured of choosing this hotel. It was a shirt drive to anything you could need or want to explore. Over all a pleasant stay.

Was in town for Frozen Four hockey. Great for getting around Tampa. We managed to avoid the often congested Route 4 by using Broadway and Adamo roads to city of Tampa which are about 10 minute drive. Those roads don’t have tolls. If you need snacks, gas, or drinks, Wawa store is an easy walk next to parking lot. Staff is outstanding, always there for assistance with questions or issues. It’s easy to get out of Tampa from hotel to go to Orlando for its parks or airport which is a little over 1 hour away.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! A very quiet room too. It was extremely clean and cleaners came in everyday. The breakfast was a little basic, would have liked more fruit & fresh food however the cinnamon buns were delicious!!

I liked that the bathroom was clean and the bedroom too. I also liked the breakfast variety. I liked the room space and the furniture because it allowed me to organize my things comfortably.
